“There are some things in life that change you forever. Obviously, there are major events such as getting a new job or having children but there are also the things that pop up in your life and give you the shake-up you need! Courtney Mills delivered just that.
CM Style came along at a time where I needed change. I had spent the last five years having children. Me, my wardrobe and my life had been put on the back burner and I had completely forgotten what it felt like to have an identity. Cue Courtney Mills and her Complete Refresh styling package.
The Wardrobe Audit was like a psychology session mixed with self-love and mindfulness all in one. Courtney taught me so much about my style, my body shape and why I was drawn to particular pieces. I threw out a lot. Not because I didn’t like it, but because it just wasn’t ‘me’ anymore. I had wasted so much time flicking past them and feeling overwhelmed with having nothing to wear. At the end my wardrobe was sorted into outing types rather than clothing types. I can go in with my eyes closed and pull any combination of clothes knowing it will go together. With three kids four and under, the eyes closed thing happens a lot!
The Shop with Me part was incredible. The excitement I had knowing everything I would buy was with intent and purpose was such a validating experience. The holes in my wardrobe started coming together very quickly. Courtney had pulled so much amazing stuff, things I would definitely had missed had I trekked to the shops alone. We had so many self-love change room moments. I have bottled up all the feels I had on this day and remember them with so much warmth!

I feel younger. A lot younger. I sometimes think I could pretend I was my children’s nanny and not their mum and people would believe me!
I love getting dressed, seeing a polished outfit gives me so much happiness each day.
I love wearing lots of colour again! I didn’t realise how much I missed bright pinks and purples in my life.
My wardrobe legitimately makes me smile every time I see it.
It is SOOOO easy to get ready for any type of outing and even easier to pack for holidays
